Credit Cards likely to stop deals for good customers

According to the New York Times,
Banks are expected to look at reviving annual fees, curtailing cash-back and other rewards programs and charging interest immediately on a purchase instead of allowing a grace period of weeks, according to bank officials and trade groups.
Mary and I just had our American Express card credit limit cut from $3,000 to $1,400 without any warning! Not that it makes a big deal. We only got the card for our gasoline purchases, and it pays back 5% on all of our gas purchases, so it's rare that we ever get above $300 in a month.

Still, it makes you wonder whether the cash back is worth it at all....
